EGR n' DPF delete on a 6.7 Cummins...

    Anybody got a Dodge pickemup truck wif' a 6.7 Cummins motor and deleted all the dumb shit off'n it?

    I'ma ponderin' buyin' one o' them thangs and I'm tryin' to figger all the pros n' cons n' such.

    I had an 08 with the EGR stuff gone. Whoever did it must a skipped a step cause the check engine light stayed on constantly. But she ran great. Good fuel mileage, lots of power. That was before the DEF fluid.

    Everybody I talked to said their mileage went up about 3 points.

    I reckon that makes sense 'cuz the motor ain't all choked no more.

    The ex has a 2014 2500 with the 6.7 and plans to delete the EGR & DEF at some point. One of our drivers got rid of it on his 3500, I'll ask him about it.

    I feel almost in my realm :D

    I done had a thought I think I thunk.

    Instead o' these dang ol' tuners n' thangs, why not just swap the ECM fer one before the DEF? I think '12 was the last year before the piss addition.
