Telling jokes at the cross roads of D&D and Tolkien....
Dag nabit hear you go @Ming. Orcs are a result of a wizards breeding program to produce the ultimate warrior out of humanoid stock... Large, High pain threshold, and too dumb to question orders........
Ogres are large humanoids that tend to relish a good fight. The blue subvariant tend to have higher intelligence and some innate magical abilities. Other mundane cultures tend too call them Djinn or Genie (India/Arabic), Oni (Japan), Sasquatch (PNW), or Blue devils in Europe/the Southern U.S.. So grabbing a bunch of friends to build a stairway over the gates of Mordor would be a good afternoon adventure.......
@Ming in order to play this game, you'll require Tolkiens.
Until you have them, not much I can do about it.
@Blu_Ogre have you seen the tome that was made for all 4 books? I drooled over it for a brief moment once...
Djinn as an ogre equivalent? In culture or games I guess I should ask first.
I always took the djinn to be a more...ethereal thing culturally speaking. Far more intelligent than an ogre.
I could see the resemblance somewhat though.
Crossing over to game mechanics..... They usually have the ability to take a gaseous form, throw a good ice storm.......
That's not what they said.
Aha... What you did there, I see it.
I'm now on the same page.

Although 7-11 daiquiris are pretty good........Slurpee with a shot of rum..... Flashback to a misspent youth.
Heating up soup tonight. Had some last night.
Decided I wasn't 100% sure if I liked it, so I had to have a second bowl just to be sure.
What kind of soup ? It was cruel to not tell us in the post.
