Its been free for 36 years....ever since the rancher let me marry his daughter
Did you steal the plate from Mrs Flyboy?
life is good
nope, we bought them about 15 years ago
I had some boiled cabbage and beans with a pawn of cornbread. Umm good. Umm good.
Has the daughter regretted that decision by her father yet?¿
I think she's one of them gals with bad taste....
I think Patty is regretting she has bad taste
Mae is making homemade made from scratch soup for dinner. She makes really good soup....and usually I'm sitting in my recliner patting my foot waiting for the big steaming bowl I know is coming but I just have no enthusiasm today. I felt bad when I woke up this morning and it hasn't gotten any better. Oh well.....soup keeps very well. Here's hoping I do as well.
i actually just heated up some soup. Aldi tomato, loaded with salt.
too lazy to cook up anything else, but then too, when you have 23,000 cans of soup you bought for the fall/winter, sooner or later, you gotta make headway to empty those shelves...
23000 cans of soup on the wall
23000 cans of soup
you open them up and pass them around
22999 cans of soup on the wall
I knew you wouldn't let me down, Pete
i can you tube anything
Surprised they didn't name it after you
i am like an idiot savant it is my only trick
Cue Paul Simon, please
Pete's fallen down on the job....
after "discussing things with the red head all day
all i could come up with
I grew up in Cincy and my very first job was in a Skyline Chili restaurant. Needless to say, I got hooked on it. I've been looking at some of the recipes on line that claim to duplicate it. I think it's gone down hill since the sons of the original Greek that started it sold out.
It's kind of a shame that it's thought of in newcomers minds as being a dish that should be served by itself in a bowl.
It's for chilidogs ..... or as a plate on spaghetti mainly.
Any of y'all have any favorite places to get chilidogs ?
not really a favorite place per se, but i used to LOVE Wendy's chili....but a large bowl is really quite small, and not worth the price. so i may buy Bushes chili or Aldi's brand of chili...all canned of course.
what "little" cooking i do, i really hate to get too involved with it, then the clean up.
even these days of boiling hotdogs, and warming the buns in the nuclear reactor, is too time consuming
